According to the Telegraph, hotel chain Travelodge is getting desperate to fill their rooms, so they’re offering an insane deal at all their 300+ hotels in Britain.
Many rooms will be discounted to £9 a night while others will be priced at £19 a night. This is a steal! Anyone who’s been shellshocked by their hotel bill when visiting Britain will appreciate this deal.
Prices go down Thursday at 6:00 AM British Time (1 AM US Eastern Time – Midnight US Central Time). You must stay between August 27th and November 30th. This happens to fall into the window our our Trip to England in November so you can bet I’m going to see if the London hotels will be offering these crazy prices.
I certainly hope they do as our hotel stay in London will be a fraction of what it would normally be. I was looking at some of the hotels on TripAdvisor and they actually look pretty nice.
From the Telegraph Article:
From Thursday morning it will cut the price of 50,000 rooms across the country to £9 per night, while a further 100,000 rooms will go on sale for £19.
The UK-based operator is the latest hotel chain to announce a sale as Britain’s accommodation industry comes to terms with the effects of the recession.
The Travelodge sale will begin at 6am on Thursday and will be available for stays between August 27 and November 30, including over the August Bank Holiday and the autumn half term break.
Happy Trip Planning!
