I got a very interesting e-mail today. It’s been a long time coming, but Marks and Spencer is finally delivering outside the UK. This means that you can now order all your favorite stuff from M&S and have it delivered around the world.
Not only that, if you fill out a survey about what you miss the most about the UK, you’ll be entered in a contest to win a £250 M&S Gift Card that can be used in the new international store.
I’m very excited about this. On my last trip to the UK, British Airways lost my luggage. While they muddled around looking for it (which took two days) I had to buy something to wear and toiletries. M&S was a cheap solution to the problem and I still wear the clothes I bought then (2 years ago now). I’ve wanted nothing more than to buy more of the most comfortable t-shirts I’ve ever owned! I also bought a pillow for £5 that I still use to this day.
Now with the weakness in the Pound versus the Dollar, it won’t be as expensive to order from venerable M&S. And right now, until March 29th, they are offering free international delivery if you spend over £80. Use Coupon Code: FREEINTL when you checkout.
Countries where M&S International Delivery is available:
- France, Germany Spain (Delivery Charge £10)
- United States, Canada (Delivery Charge £20)
- Australia, New Zealand (Delivery Charge £20)
What can you buy? Most of the great stuff available on Marks and Spencer’s website such as: Women’s clothing, Men’s clothing, children’s clothing, lingerie and much more.
What’s missing?
I really think they should offer British Magazines and British Newspapers for sale. The thing I miss most about the UK is the newspapers and magazines and I would regularly purchase my favorites if I could order them online simply. It wouldn’t take much for them to offer this since most of their stores usually carry them.
My favorite purchase at M&S when I’m in London is to visit the produce department and get fruit to snack on during my trips. M&S Grapes are to die for!
