Anglophile Call for Help: Australia Wildfire Relief Fund

Most of my fellow Anglophiles have probably watched in horror as deadly wildfires have raged across Australia. Well, now you can do something about it.

Darren Rowse (and Australia native) over at ProBlogger alerted me to this earlier today. Major web development website SitePoint is sponsoring a charity drive to raise money for Australia wildfire relief.

And it’s a great deal that’s too good to pass up.

For the low price of $29.95 you get your pick of 5 Web Development ebooks. All the proceeds go to the wildfire relief fund.

It’s a good cause and I would encourage any readers interested in web development to take them up on their offer.

I intend to make my purchase on payday (Friday). You need to buy fast, you have until Friday to take the deal. The goal was to raise $50,000 and at the time of this posting, they’ve raised almost $75,000!

You can find out more information here:

You get a good deal and get to help out some people in need at the same time. Hopefully it will help somehow. Everyone affected by wildfires are in my wife and I’s prayers.
