I’m going to be putting together an uber-post on London related iPhone apps soon, but I wanted to spotlight this little gem now.
I wrote a few months ago about Spoonfed, a web based London Events Guide that has become indispensable in planning my trip to London in November.
Well, they recently released a revolutionary app for the iPhone which takes their great content and puts in in the palm of your hand. It’s called Spoonfed Radar and it uses the location features of the iPhone to tell you what’s going on around you.
You can also browse events by genre and find stuff that interests you. It’s a simple little app but content rich. You can bet this will be on my iPhone during the trip!
Spoonfed has been nominated for TechCrunch Europa awards in the categories of Best Mobile Application and Best Start-up.
They’re a fantastic little start-up with cool people behind the helm. I really would encourage all of you to take the time to vote for them. They deserve it.
The bigger profile they get – the better our London trip planning will get in the future!

Anglotopia was founded by Jonathan and Jackie Thomas for people who love Britain - whether it's British TV, Culture, History or Travel - we cover it all. Anglotopia was started to get us back to the UK for a trip and it did that in 2009. Now, the goal is for Anglotopia to make our dream of living in the UK a reality.
Hi Jonathan,
Thanks so much for the brilliant post and glad you like our iPhone app! We really appreciate the feedback and support.
Cheers,
Meaghan
