It’s definitely a long time coming but the fourth Beatle is going to get his very own place on the Hollywood Walk of fame.
He will be the 2,401st person to get the honor and is due to get it next Monday.
From CBS:
Starr is scheduled to speak at the honors ceremony. His star will be located in front of the Capitol Record building not far from stars of his late bandmates John Lennon and George Harrison.
Born Richard Starkey on July 7, 1940 in Liverpool, England, Starr once said by the time he was 13 he knew, “I only wanted to be a drummer.”
By the time he was 20, he performed with several bands and changed his name to Ringo Starr because “it sounded cowboyish.”
Congrats Ringo!

Anglotopia was founded by Jonathan and Jackie Thomas for people who love Britain - whether it's British TV, Culture, History or Travel - we cover it all. Anglotopia was started to get us back to the UK for a trip and it did that in 2009. Now, the goal is for Anglotopia to make our dreams of traveling to the UK whenever we want a reality.
