Go on Whitby! Glad to see a town just down the coast on that list. Hartlepool and Whitby are closely linked as St. Hilda founded Whitby Abbey around the same time she established an Abbey here in Hartlepool in the seventh century. I've been to Whitby and the scenery there is breathtaking, can't imagine a better place to eat fish & chips! Next time I go in I will have to pop in there and sample their top ten rated fish & ships.
