Anglotopia is proud to announce our very first trip contest, and the prize is a pretty awesome one. Our friends at British Airways have kindly provided us with 2 round-trip tickets from the U.S.A. to London to give to one lucky winner. We’ve also lined up some great prizes from friends of Anglotopia for the Grand Prize winner.
As this blog has grown, we’ve had lots of contact with people who dream of going to Britain, but for whatever reason they can’t seem to make it happen. The biggest stumbling block is being able to afford airfare to London, which from most major U.S. cities can be a lot of money these days even if you fly economy. It’s breaks our hearts to see so many people who WANT to go to London, but can’t.
So we want to remove that stumbling block for a lucky person and their companion.
The Grand Prize includes:
- Two round-trip economy plane tickets on British Airways from the closest gateway
- Tep Wireless WiFi and cell phone rental
- 1 copy of the TakeTwo two-for-1 London coupon book
- 1 Small Car Big City Tour
- 1 copy of Rick Steves London Guide
- 2 Oyster cards
- 2 Heathrow Express tickets to Paddington Station
Please note that a hotel is NOT included in the prize. You’ll have to arrange that yourself. We opted to do this so that you can choose to go to London as long as you like and also explore further afield if you have time without feeling constrained by a certain hotel.
The winner will be able to travel as long as they like and book the trip when they like, subject to the requirements of the terms and conditions of the contest.
And on top of the grand prize, we’re also offering some great secondary prizes!
