I’ve discovered one of the coolest magazines I’ve ever come across and had to share it with you guys. It’s called BBC Knowledge magazine and it’s magazine completely devoted to learning cool stuff.
I came across it in my local Walgreen’s, of all places, and haven’t been able to put it down. It features in-depth feature articles about historical or scientific topics, regular columns about science, history, technology and so much more.
Here’s a sampling of articles from the latest issues:
- Darwin at 200
- Robert Burns History
- Polar Science
- The Nazi’s on Film
The articles are very interesting, well written and educational. I expect only the best from the BBC. This magazine is perfect for Anglophiles, especially those with curiosities beyond Great Britain.
If you want to read an older issue and get an idea of what the magazine is all about, you can read a back issue in it’s entirety on their useful website. Check it out here. You can also follow them on Twitter and Facebook.
A subscription runs for $29.95 for a year or you can pick it up at major newsstands. My local Barnes and Noble has them. It’s a great buy and I highly recommend it. The next issue will be out in mid-April.

Anglotopia was founded by Jonathan and Jackie Thomas for people who love Britain - whether it's British TV, Culture, History or Travel - we cover it all. Anglotopia was started to get us back to the UK for a trip and it did that in 2009. Now, the goal is for Anglotopia to make our dream of living in the UK a reality.
