Don’t Forget – Rugby Six Nations Championship LIVE on BBC America!

Today is a first for BBC America and I hope it succeeds – they’ll be airing the first match of the Six Nations Championship cup LIVE on the channel. Sure the Super Bowl is tomorrow – but this is just a big a deal in Britain (and other commonwealth countries).

They’ve never aired sports before and most Anglophiles know how frustrating it is to get good British Sport in the USA (frustrating and often expensive).

So, today at 12 Noon Eastern Time and 11 AM Central Time – the England Versus Wales match will be broadcast live on BBC America and BBC America HD.

Tell us in the comments what you thought!

He keeps Anglotopia running in his spare time, always dreaming of his next trip to England, wishing he lived there - specifically Dorset - and is always trying to figure out a way to move to England. It will happen one day. Keep up with him on Twitter here. Read more from this author

LOVED IT and wish that the American side of the BBC would show the Scotland v France match this afternoon. It would be a superb appetizer to everyone gathering here at my house later for our Super Bowl.

I’m thinking that the French are probably too strong for the Scotland side, but one has to wonder if the French inconsistency that’s dogged them will rear its ugly head once more.

Ah well, sigh, BBCA has decided to rerun old seasons of Top Gear and Last Restaurant instead. I wish they would change their minds.
