This clip is making the rounds on the net right now – it’s the first 2 minutes of Doctor Who: The End of Time Part Two which will be airing New Year’s Day in the UK and January 2nd in the USA.

It’s full of spoilery goodness so don’t watch it if you want to be pure! I don’t know about you, but it gets me pretty pumped for next week!

Happy Boxing Day!

Cool clip. The timelords returning is a risk but if RTD manages to set up a battle of Time war like standards then i believe i will be okay with this being his last episode and DT`s.

Fortunately in the classic series it’s been established the Time Lords were capable of being as corrupt and fallible as anyone. I have to say I’m hoping against hope for a Romana and/or Paul McGann cameo. It seems to me that the biggest missed opportunity of late has been not bringing back the 8th Doctor for a Time War miniseries.

So perhaps Timothy Dalton is Borusa returned from stone? He always had a thing for immortality. Would be a cool twist to bring back some of the original storylines given the gamble they’ve taken allowing the show to lose momentum without a full series this year followed by such a young replacement timelord. Bringing back the Timelord Council would give the gravitas that a young Doctor would lack.
