I caught a live performance of The Audience with Helen Mirren earlier this year at a Chicago movie theater and it was quite a treat. These programs are very well done. Highly recommend them.

On December 11 in the same series as “The Audience” with Helen Mirren there will be screened in theatres across the US the acclaimed West End production of Noel Coward’s “Private Lives” from this past summer. It stars Toby Stephens (Mr. Rochester in BBC’s 2006 “Jane Eyre” and Maggie Smith’s son), Anna Chancellor (Duckface in “Three Weddings and a Funeral”, Anthony Calf and Anna-Louise Plowman. On November 8th the theatres will be announced–check it out on FathomEvents.com. Not only will you feel like you have been in the Giegud Theatre but there will be interviews with the cast and the director before the play itself. A GREAT evening for everyone, especially Anglophiles!
