The Sun has posted a “prequel” video for the next series of “The Inbetweeners” (note: very brief nudity and lots of bleeped language.)
Basically, the guys are just back to school for fall term, talking about their rather pathetic summer and how they’re going to dominate their final year, and giving Will enormous crap (pun intended) for the events of last series’ finale. The new series is scheduled to premiere on Channel 4 in September.
In related news, there have been tabloid reports that Simon Bird, who plays Will, is holding out for more money before shooting a feature-length episode of the show later this month based on the boys taking a road trip to Spain. According to The Sun, Bwark Productions is now sending out casting notices for a character that would either recast Will or replace him on the show. However, show writer Iain Morris has refuted the claims on Twitter, and keep in mind that this is The Sun.
FYI, a great way of keeping up with the latest chatter online about British TV from the actors and production side itself is by keeping an eye on my Brit TV Twitter list.

Anglotopia was founded by Jonathan and Jackie Thomas for people who love Britain - whether it's British TV, Culture, History or Travel - we cover it all. Anglotopia was started to get us back to the UK for a trip and it did that in 2009. Now, the goal is for Anglotopia to make our dreams of traveling to the UK whenever we want a reality.
