Torchwood Day 2 Recap and Review – SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!

What follows is a mad stream of thoughts that I wrote down as I watched this wonderful series. Let me know what you thought of tonight’s episode in the comments!

SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!

Episode 2:

The first question is: if Cardiff was blown up and destroyed, would anyone care?

Turning into a shoot out. I just don’t really care for the blatant handgun use. The nice thing about Doctor Who is that the Doctor tries to solve things without indiscriminate violence.

I just don’t see the British as a trigger happy people. I’m really bothered by all the ads featuring the main characters just holding guns. Don’t like the message it sends.

Uh oh Ryhs gets to play the lovable oaf asking a million questions. I hope he doesn’t end up being too annoying.

Don’t know whether to like Peter Capaldi’s character or not.

I want to like him, but I don’t think I should.

So, what are the 4, 5, 6?

I don’t think John is going to make it to the end of this series.

This special agent may be a murdering bitch but she sure is HAWT!

I knew Jack wasn’t going to stay dead for long. We all know how his story ends anyway, face of Boe and all. So, that pretty much makes that much of the story predictable.

Well, the female fans will certainly be happy about being able to see Captain Jack in his birthday suit.

I wouldn’t trust this secretary from the government!

I figured they’d leave Jack incased in concrete for a least a few more episodes. I’m glad they didn’t.

Jack ass. The girls are going to love that. Hell, I’m a straight man and it’s looking good!

One thing I love about Doctor Who and Torchwood, is that they make Britain the sci-fi center of the universe. Oftentimes, it’s the USA and it’s really unfair to the rest of the world.

I suspect this scientist guy knows more about what’s going on that he’s leading on.

Stay Tuned tomorrow for more of my mind ramblings about Torchwood: Children of Earth. Feel free to chime in down in the comments!
