It is often said that Britain and the United States are a common culture divided by language. This book is a guide to all the fun linguistic differences between American and British English. The British not only have their own unique words but they also use certain words much differently and this book seeks to gather all those words and phrases in one place for easy reference. Jonathan, not that one could not stand to look at Alan Rickman for 7 minutes (rather like listening to Richard Burton reading the telephone directory), 7 minutes *is* a long time and I admit I skipped through it and gave it about 1 minute total.
PS And one really would prefer to see Alan making a *proper* cup of tea!
Alan Rickman’s performance was absolutely stirring!
With a TEA BAG? Yuck.
Thank goodness he didn’t have a cup of coffee!
The only performance of Alan Rickman that I haven’t enjoyed. Can’t believe he agreed to do it. Pathetic.
It’s a joke…
Fie, indeed! Teabag? Bleah!
Now if dear Alan had done narration during the making of a cup of tea then I would have it on an MP3. lol
Boring for about the first three minutes, great after that.
Not a cup, but a SPotter of tea. At least he didn’t threaten to cut your heart out with a (long-handled) spoon.

…And that is what happens when fans approach him in a cafe…
Wonderful music.
