This is a fun little activity that we may try out on our trip to London. It’s a photography based treasure hunt through the city of London and the Southbank.
Call Shoot Experience London, it’s a fun little map (with included compass) that has clues that test your knowledge of London. Once you find the answer to the clue, you need to take a unique picture of it.
The goal of the project is to see how creative people get when they take their pictures. Once you finish the treasure quest, you can submit your pictures to ShootExperience.com and enter to win some excellent prizes.
From the Site:
A unique and fun way to explore the sites of London in your own time, on your own or with family and friends, the interactive treasure map will guide you around South Bank, Bankside and the City. Once solved, the clues will lead you to inspiring destinations and other interesting sites are mapped out along the way. There is a twist in that there are prizes and fame to be won, so get those creative juices flowing.
After your adventures you can upload your photos to be in with a chance to win a camera from Olympus and a lava lamp from Mathmos. Selected photos will be exhibited in a London gallery (Venue TBC) and you can also make money form the sale of your photos at shootbank.co.uk (optional).
You can pick up the map at many shops on the Southbank, including the Tate Modern Museum Shop. It’s not an expensive thing to participate in and once you do, you get a chance to win some prizes.

Anglotopia was founded by Jonathan and Jackie Thomas for people who love Britain - whether it's British TV, Culture, History or Travel - we cover it all. Anglotopia was started to get us back to the UK for a trip and it did that in 2009. Now, the goal is for Anglotopia to make our dreams of traveling to the UK whenever we want a reality.
