London Transport Museums Posts Classic London Underground Documentaries Online For Free

I’m a London Transport geek, so I’m all over this. The London Transport Museum has posted online the full movies of various documentaries that were made about the London Underground over the years.

From the website:

London’s public transport companies have been using moving images to promote services and train staff since the early years of the twentieth century. Although the film collection we inherited from London Transport is perhaps best known for the documentaries made by British Transport Films in the 1950s and 60s, we have chosen a broader range of titles for this initial online selection, covering the period from 1910 to 1970.

You can check out the whole library here.

It’s unfortunate that you’re not able to embed the videos on other sites, or else I would post all these videos on Anglotopia. They are truly amazing.

Check them out here.
