Amazing Images of Hadrian’s Wall Lit up for British Tourism Week

This week is British Tourism Week in the UK and to kick it off organizers planned a once in a lifetime event – they created an unbroken line of light along Hadrian’s Wall in the North of England.

Hadrian’s wall is 84 miles long. They lit beacon flames from Wallend to Bowness-on-Solway all along the public path that runs along Hadrian’s Wall.

The Romans, who built the wall around 1900 years ago, would certainly be impressed.

It’s one of those things that makes me really wish I lived in the UK so I could have seen it in person. But pictures and Videos will have to do for now.
