Can you name all the counties in England in 10 minutes?

I was surprised to learn that I could not!

I found this fun online quiz that tests your knowledge of English counties and you have 10 minutes to fill it in.

I only got about half and was stumped as to the rest. I couldn’t believe that I couldn’t name them all. I thought I knew everything about England!

Well, now I intend to fix that. No longer will I confine myself to being able to name all 50 US States! England has 48 Counties, all with an array of names; from Devon to Buckinghamshire and from Wiltshire to East Ridling of Yorkshire.

So, go take the quiz and see what you get for results.

Then, come back and look at this list of English Counties to see which ones you missed.

Now, no peeking beforehand! Good luck!
