When the Covid-19 situation kicked off over 8 weeks ago, we took the difficult decision to stop importing products from Britain so we didn’t take up valuable cargo space on transatlantic flights. 8 weeks later, the world is a much different place and businesses all over the world are doing what they can do survive.
One of our suppliers got in touch with us a few days ago – Splashmaps – they make beautiful maps that we used to sell – and said they were now making Union Jack face masks and wondered if we would like to buy some. I asked our followers on Facebook last night if they would buy them and the answer was a resounding yes.
So, we have decided to place an order for a limited quantity and import them to the USA. We should have them in 2-3 weeks but we need to sell as many as possible upfront to make this work.
These masks are polyester-cotton with a Union Jack pattern and are made to the usual high-quality standard as all Splashmap’s products. Like all SplashMaps, they are washable, reusable, unisex, highly robust, and designed for practicality and comfort in use. Perfect as a first line of defense against airborne contaminants, the masks also keep fingers away from your airways and, when worn, show consideration for those you encounter on your walks, runs, rides, and shopping missions. Soft cotton, pleating, and hoops around the ears assure a comfortable universal fit. They’re washable and reusable.
We’re proud to be supporting a UK business during this difficult time. We have also decided to donate 10% of the profits from these masks to the Oxfam Coronavirus Relief Fund, which is doing good work here in the USA and around the world for Coronavirus relief.
These masks are being made for us, in England by a British company. We should have them in 2-3 weeks at which point we will immediately ship them back out to everyone. Wearing face masks is now going to be the new normal for quite some time so you will get plenty of use out of these.
Order yours here ($4 shipping in the USA, $6 to Canada, $12 everywhere else):
